EventGo has launched a new AI-powered recommendation system to help users discover events that match their interests and preferences. The system analyzes user behavior, past attendance, and expressed interests to suggest relevant events. Early testing shows that users are 45% more likely to attend events suggested by the new system compared to general browsing. The feature is now available to all users on the platform and will continue to improve as it learns from user interactions.
Key features of the new recommendation system include:
- Personalized event suggestions based on browsing history and past attendance
- Category-specific recommendations that align with user interests
- Discovery of new event types that may interest users based on broader patterns
- Weekly email digests with personalized event selections
- Improved search results that consider personal preferences
"Our goal is to connect people with events they'll love, even ones they might not have discovered on their own," explains EventGo's Head of Product. "This AI system helps bridge that gap, making event discovery more personalized and relevant."
The recommendation system has been in development for over six months, with extensive testing involving a select group of users. Feedback from the testing phase was incorporated into the final release, with improvements to recommendation accuracy and relevance.
